In the Netherlands, a pedicurist is trained in much more than just cosmetic pedicures. The qualification includes detailed study of foot anatomy, skin and nail conditions, hygiene and infection control, biomechanics, and recognising medical conditions that affect the feet. We are trained to assess feet, identify problems, and provide treatments to improve comfort, mobility, and overall foot health.
